RBS 6 Nations Player Diary 9 #O2InsideLine

27 February 2014

  • Luther Burrell and Jack Nowell update from camp
  • See behind-the-scenes footage and informal chat during RBS 6 Nations

In the ninth of RFUtv's RBS 6 Nations Player Diaries, England duo Luther Burrell and Jack Nowell bring you up-to-date with what's been happening during the Pennyhill Park training week.

The pair made their first Twickenham appearances for England last Saturday in the victory over Ireland and share their memories of the off-field experience, which focuses on the at times deafening noise produced by the home crowd.

The conversation continues to the vast differences in their respective gym sessions and what it will like training playing against Oxford University at Twickenham – who will certainly be going full-noise against the best players in the country.

Then Burrell and Nowell talk through their plans for the weekend, with discussion of whether the 20 year-old wing is now becoming “big time” with back-to-back dinners at Exeter Chiefs and Cornish Pirates.
