20 June 2014

  • Hartley, Ashton, Youngs and Brown on the player diary
  • Exclusive footage and informal chat from the New Zealand tour

In the eighth of RFUtv's New Zealand tour player diaries, England quartet Dylan Hartley, Chris Ashton, Ben Youngs and Mike Brown bring you up to date with what's been happening at the end of the third Test week.

Hartley and Ashton, recalled to the starting line-up for the third Test, talk about the day’s events from the team hotel in Hamilton shortly after flying in from Auckland. In a jovial mood, the former Northampton Saints teammates discuss the journey, the city of Hamilton and expectations for the final match in the series against the All Blacks tomorrow.

Youngs and Brown complete the diary from the captain’s run at the Waikato Stadium. Enjoying a mistake from the interviewer immensely, the pair speak about the importance of familiarisation with the stadium, the freshness in the group as they approach the last game of a long season and pre-match routines.
