England Deaf have included two news caps in their squad for their Deaf International against Wales at Franklin’s Gardens on Saturday, May 10 (6pm).

Hartpury College centre Cameron Roberts has been named in the centre with wing Chris Lovett of Cantabridgians in line to win his first cap off the bench.

Roberts comes into the centre in place of Jack Haddock, who switches to fly half to replace Sutton Coldfield’s Sam Scadeng.

There are three changes to the pack that was on duty when Wales beat England 36-3 at Cardiff Arms Park in January with the experienced Brett Pruce recalled at hooker, Kris Mannering in the second row and Aaron Beesley at number eight.

The international against Wales, who are holders of the Broadstreet Cup, will follow the Aviva Premiership match between Northampton Saints and London Wasps.
