The Marriott London Sevens is the focus for this week’s RFU Podcast, as the HSBC Sevens World Series reaches its climax in front of a sell-out Twickenham crowd.

Simon Amor’s England side arrive at their home leg in fourth place on the ladder behind Fiji, South Africa and runaway leaders New Zealand.

After clinching the plate up in Glasgow last weekend, they will be hoping home support can carry them through to a first tournament win of the campaign.

BBC Five Live’s Chris Jones went to Twickenham to see exactly what it takes to see exactly what it takes to succeed in one of the world’s most gruelling sports.

The Greene King IPA Championship has reached the semi-final first leg stage too, with Bristol Rugby welcoming Rotherham Titans on Saturday before Headingley hosts Leeds Carnegie’s clash with London Welsh.

Finally, Simon Ward spoke to Debbie Jevans of England Rugby 2015, the RFU's Ian Ritchie and IRB CEO Brett Gosper in London at an event to mark 500 days to go until Rugby World Cup 2015.
