Following the first ever streaming of a professional rugby union game through Twitter, the RFU Championship will once again be broadcasting through the social media site, this time covering Nottingham and Bedford Blues’ semi-final legs

The Rugby Football Union’s Board of Directors has considered the findings of the independent audit report requested by semi-finalists Bedford Blues, Leeds Carnegie, Newcastle Falcons and Nottingham Rugby, which determines a club’s eligibility for promotion to the Aviva Premiership in line with the Minimum Standards Criteria (MSC)

This Saturday (April 20) the RFU Championship will make social media history, broadcasting the first ever live rugby union fixture via Twitter. Following a public vote in which supporters were asked to choose the game they wanted to see streamed live, Cornish Pirates and Jersey will take to the field in front of a Twitter audience in the final round of the league stage
