Application Support

Advice and support is available from:

  1. Constituent Body Honorary Secretaries and County Rugby Development Officers (RDOs)

The 27 Constituent Body Unions are the administrative backbone of grass roots Rugby union throughout the country. The Constituent Bodies are bodies, affiliated to The RFU, responsible for running all aspects of the game at the local level.

Each Constituent Body has a dedicated Rugby Development Officer whose role is to work in partnership to deliver The RFU and CB Development Strategy at a local level. RDOs will be able to advise on rugby development planning and will be able to give a county perspective on proposed projects.

  2. RFU Regional Rugby Development Managers (RRDMs)

There are nine RFU Regional Rugby Development Managers who enable the RFU to give focused support to the County Bodies and other key partners. RRDMs will be able to advise on the programmes and initiatives outlined in The RFU Strategic Plan 2000- 2008.
