England Under 18

The England Under 18 programme, run by John Fletcher alongside assistant Peter Walton, accelerates the development of the stars of the future and they take on European opponents as well as travelling to the Southern Hemisphere each year. England U18 secured a third successive Grand Slam in 2009-10, averaging more than five tries per game.

Andrew Boyce

Andrew Boyce

Playing at Worcester is a way of life for Andrew Boyce. A mini-junior there from the age of six, he made his first-team debut off the bench in pre-season matches last year against Rotherham Titans and Plymouth Albion. Now a member of the Worcester Warriors Academy, he is studying politics, geography, physical education and biology at the King’s School in the city. He made his England U18 debut in the 57-13 win over Scotland at Darlington in March this year.

Howard Packman

Howard Packman

After taking up the game when at the age of five at Wellingborough RFC, Howard Packman moved seven years later to Old Northamptonians and is now a member of the Northampton Saints Academy. He represented England U16A, U17 and first appeared for the U18 side on the wing in the 58-8 win over Georgia in the FIRA/AER European Championship in Madrid in March last year.

Jack Walker

Jack Walker

Born in the village of Steeton between Skipton and Keighley in Yorkshire, Jack Walker relishes his family links with the game. His dad Johnny was in the England U21 squad, played for Otley and at rugby league for Keighley, Hunslet, Batley and Wakefield. Jack said: “He has made it possible for me to achieve everything so far, has been a great inspiration and I have huge respect for him.”
