Key Facts

Height1.67m (5'6")
Weight64kg (10st 1lb)

We've got Becky's brothers to thank for getting her into rugby. With three brothers playing at Market Bosworth RFC Becky, at the age of four, she decided she “wanted to be better than all of my brothers”.

Having said that, although she did represent Leicestershire at Under 15 Cross Country, there wasn't much chance Becky wasn't going down the rugby route. She recalls: “My mum is a coach, and has coached all of us at one time or other – she is still one of my coaches at Lichfield. My uncles, Simon and Tim, both played at school and county level, and Tim is a county referee now. My cousins Dan, Will, Joe, George and Charlie all play, and Joe is hoping to go to university in America next year on a Rugby Scholarship Programme.”

After leaving St. Clare’s Primary School in Leicestershire, Becky is now at De Lisle College, Loughborough in her final year of  A Levels doing Sociology,  English Literature, Physical Education and Design & Technology.  She was awarded Girl of the Year last year at De Lisle College and can add trophies at the Midlands U18s League 2012/13 and Midlands U18s County Festival 2011/12 to her CV.

She's a big fan of Leicester Tigers and enjoys a bit of sing-song. She's into her baking and cooking, too and if she could have anyone around for dinner, Usain Bolt, Jessica Ennis, JK Rowling and Russell Brand would make up the guest list.

The Harry Potter series are her favourite films and if she could have any job in the world, she'd like to present Blue Peter.
