A West Country girl through and through, Courtney first got into rugby at the age of 13 with her local club Plymouth Albion. She went on to captain the club and her county side, Devon, and puts a lot of her success down to her dad and his role of taxi driver and kit man.
She now finds herself playing with Worcester in the Premiership – being crowned champions ranks amongst her top achievements in the game along with her ten caps so far for the England Under 20s. In her time with the Under 20s, the second row has clocked up a few air miles with a trip to France and has also picked up some fond memories along the way, too, the win over South Africa in the 2013 Nations Cup 3rd/4th play-off game being top of the list.
After attending Widey Court Primary School and Eggbuckland Community College, both in Plymouth, Courtney found her way up the M5 to Hartpury College – like so many of this Under 20s squad – and is now in her second year of a strength and conditioning course at the University of Gloucestershire.
She's a big fan of the Hunger Games films and is partial to a bit of Grease's, Summer Loving on the microphone but when it comes to relaxing, it's all about her favourite way of chilling which is sleep. If you do manage to get her out of bed and out of the West Country though, it would be to go to Florida – another favourite of Courtney's.
