Having only played the game for nearly five years, Holly's rise in rugby has, like her, been pretty speedy. She first got into the game through a tag rugby tournament where she found out about Plymouth Albion Girls. Her dad has been - and continues to be - her biggest inspiration when it comes to rugby matters, although Danielle Waterman, a current England Elite Squad member and Holly's former coach at Hartpury College and her first coach at Plymouth Albion, Jim get a lot of credit, too.
Before that, Holly, like so many of her peers, enjoyed the Hartpury College experience. She was also at another West Country rugby stronghold, Ivybridge College. She captained the South West Under 18s team at the 2012 UK School games and now, having crossed the Severn to study Sports and Exercise Science at UWIC in Cardiff, she is handily placed to play her club rugby at Bristol.
A big fan of the beach – it's her favourite way to relax having been brought up close to the sea - it's no surprise that Holly is a keen surfer and swimmer. Her biggest achievement on the water, however, is taking part in the Inshore Rescue Boat racing in the European Championships.
If she could have any job in the world, though, it would be as an Occupational Therapist, more than likely based in Sri Lanka, her favourite holiday destination.
