How to Keep Your Boots On!

Stay in the game – if you are involved in rugby at any level and are interested in the opportunities that coaching or refereeing offer, this is the place to learn more.

What is KYBO?

  • KYBO is an RFU initiative designed to raise awareness of the opportunities for rugby players to start coaching and refereeing
  • As you’ll discover, coaching and refereeing offer fantastic opportunities for players coming to the end of their playing careers but who want to remain involved with the sport they love
  • KYBO sessions are held at rugby clubs across England and bring players together to learn how coaching or refereeing will allow them to stay in the game

Don’t hang up your boots! Take a look at the videos below to get a taste of what coaching and refereeing is all about:

What next?

Inspired enough to give coaching or refereeing a try? Then just speak to an experienced coach or referee in your club, or your Club Coaching Coordinator, and offer to help out with a session. Your club will welcome your expertise – and support you in deciding how you can Keep Your Boots On!
