• Zero tolerance to early engagement
• Tight heads to be square on engagement and Loose heads to be hitting up
• A legal bind from tight head and loose head, with binding on body and not arms SEE CLIP 7
• Loose heads putting a hand on the ground to prevent a collapse at engagement may on occasion be able to rebind at the referee’s discretion.
• This should however be an exception rather than a norm
• A loose head repeatedly putting a hand on the ground on engagement should be penalised
