About the RFU Play On campaign
Wherever life takes you, there's one thing that you don’t want to lose: rugby. The RFU Play On campaign makes it easier to carry on playing rugby when you move from place to place.
It's the scheme that helps you make the right connections at a new club. With the tricky bit out of the way you can get on with making new mates in a new team and playing rugby.
Play On takes the hassle out of walking in to a new club by doing all the hard work for you. A network of local people across the country called O2 Pathfinders will make sure that if you're moving somewhere else, someone from a team in that area knows about it, will contact you and introduce you to their club, college or uni team.
Play On campaign manager Peter Bath said: "Our aim is to keep players engaged in the game and then connected with a new club when they leave school and join university. It is simple – but we need players to tell us where they are going and the Play On retention forms make this possible.
"If we can get these forms and pass them onto O2 Pathfinders all the difficulties players face when trying to find a new club are taken away."
