RFU Anti-Doping Outreach
The RFU Anti-Doping team carries out a number of education events and seminars throughout the season. The majority of these are delivered, in conjunction with the Professional Rugby Players Association (RPA), to England representative sides and to young players embarking on a professional career.
For the past five years the RFU and UKAD have worked together to run an outreach zone at the Rosslyn Park National School Sevens Tournament. Resources, advice and education are provided to hundreds of young players who attend the festival. Last year the outreach zone was also attended by Harlequins and England players Danny Care and Ugo Monye, who showed their support of the 100%ME campaign and the fight against doping.
