NatWest Schools Cup Show Your School’s Colours Competition Terms and Condititions

a) The Competition is open to all school rugby teams who are in the quarter-finals draw for the NatWest Schools U18 Cup, NatWest Schools U18 Vase, NatWest Schools U15 Cup and the NatWest Schools U15 Vase. People can vote for their school team using the Fan Vote page at www.rfu.com/natwestschoolscup. One entry per person per school team.

b) Schools that are not in the quarter-finals draw for the NatWest Schools U18 Cup, NatWest Schools U18 Vase, NatWest Schools U15 Cup and the NatWest Schools U15 Vase are not eligible to enter the NatWest Schools Cup Show Your School’s Colours Competition.

c) School rugby teams that are not in the draw for the NatWest Schools Cup semi-finals and finals will not be eligible for the following prizes;

- Semi-finals prize:

- U15s prize – VIP hospitality for 20 in two Twickenham boxes for the Barbarians vs England XV match on June 1st

- U18s prize - VIP hospitality for 20 in two Twickenham boxes for the Barbarians vs England XV match on June 1st

- There are two prizes available

- Finals prize:

- A visit from an England International rugby player to the winning schools to host a training session ahead of the Final

- There are 2 x prizes available (1 x U15 & 1 x U18)

d) School rugby teams who are still in the draw for the NatWest Schools U18 Cup, NatWest Schools U18 Vase, NatWest Schools U15 Cup and the NatWest Schools U15 Vase will be automatically entered into the NatWest Schools Cup Show Your School’s Colours Competition and the school’s team name will be displayed online on the NatWest Schools Cup Show Your School’s Colours Competition webpage at: www.rfu.com/natwestschoolscup

e) Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will be disqualified. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged due to electronic errors. Proof of sending an email or submitting an application form will not be accepted as proof of entry.

f) The competition works as follows:

The Public Vote 

- School teams who remain in the draw for the NatWest Schools U18 Cup, NatWest Schools U18 Vase, NatWest Schools U15 Cup and the NatWest Schools U15 Vase will be placed onto the NatWest Schools Cup Show Your School’s Colours voting list that can be found online at: www.rfu.com/natwestschoolscup

- There are two competitions available

An U18s competition involving school teams who remain in the draw for the NatWest Schools U18 Cup and NatWest Schools U18 Vase

An U15s competition involving school teams who remain in the draw for the NatWest Schools U15 Cup and NatWest Schools U15 Vase

- School teams must battle to be top of their leaderboard by total number of points. School teams can accrue points for the leaderboard by earning votes from their fans.

- Fans can vote for their favourite school team at: www.rfu.com/natwestschoolscup

- The votes received by each school rugby team on the RFU website will be converted into points and added to the “Points” column on the leaderboard

- The U18 and U15 leaderboards can be found at facebook by visiting www.facebook.com/NatWestRugby

- The two leaderboards will be updated every 3 working days and will display details of all the teams who are still in the competition and thus eligible to enter

- Anyone can vote and will receive 1 point

- Votes will be capped at a maximum of one vote per person

- 1 point will be awarded to the school rugby team for each vote the school team receives on the RFU website

- Prizes will be allocated to each of the teams at the top of their leaderboards on the following dates:

i. Quarter-finals prize: Wednesday, February 5, 2014, 12pm (U15s & U18s)

ii. Semi-finals prize: Sunday, March 7, 2014, 12pm (U15s & U18s)

iii. Finals prize:

- U15s: Sunday, March 23, 2014, 23.59pm

- U18s: Sunday, March 23, 2014, 23.59pm

g) The prizes for each round are as follows:

- Quarter-finals prize:

- 1 x Live stream of NatWest Schools Cup U15 quarter-final match on RFU.com

- 1 x Live stream of NatWest Schools Cup U18 quarter-final match on RFU.com

- There are two quarter-final prizes available

- Voting is open until midday on February 5, 2014. The winning fixture will be announced on RFU.com on February 7, 2014.

- The RFU will stream one U18 quarter-final match and one U15 quarter-final match on the basis they are not played at the same time. If both the winning fixtures are scheduled for the same day and time then the RFU have the right to specify which match they will stream.

- Please select the school/college team which you would like to see live rather than the actual fixture.

- The team with the highest total number of votes will be the winner per age group.

- If two or more teams have an equal number of votes, the names of these teams will be placed in a hat and the RFU will draw out the winning team.

- The participating schools in the winning fixture must both agree to the streaming of the fixture, agreement will be sought from the Head Coach of each team.

- The RFU will provide all relevant streaming equipment but the fixture must be played during the week commencing February 10, 2014.

- If, for any reason, permission for streaming is not granted by the participating schools or the fixture cannot be arranged for the w/c February 10, the fixture with the second highest number of votes will instead be streamed.

- The RFU retains the right to alter, amend or close the competition without prior notice.

- Semi-finals prize:

- U15s prize – VIP hospitality for 20 in two Twickenham boxes for the Barbarians match in June

- U18s prize - VIP hospitality for 20 in two Twickenham boxes for the Barbarians match in June

- There are two prizes available

h) The prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative is available.

i) The information about the winners will be available by sending a SAE to ‘The NatWest Schools Cup competition, c/o Charlie Walter, M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, 36 Golden Square, London, W1F 9EE’.

j) The winning school teams agree to take part in publicity in connection with this competition.

k) If any of the prizes are unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winning school teams, the promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prizes as it sees fit without any liability to the winner school teams for having done so.

l) The promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.
