The Women's Premiership is the pinnacle of ladies' domestic rugby in England, and in the 2012/2013 season eight teams will be contesting the league over 14 matches.

Richmond are the reigning champions, winning a third successive title in 2012 with 12 wins from 14 games, though Saracens were not far off the pace just two games adrift.

Thurrock Ladies are newcomers to the Premiership this season after winning the Championship play-off match against Camp Hill Ladies, taking the place of Old Albanians who were relegated after failing to pick up a win all season.

The Women's Premiership features an all-star line-up with many England internationals lining up each week alongside while several international rugby players from around the world.
