Don't miss out on a record breaking London Sevens

Come to Twickenham dressed as your favourite superhero and take part in an official Guinness World Record™ attempt, sponsored by Broil King.

Get your superhero outfits at the ready, come along to finals day of the Emirates Airline London Sevens (May 23) and prepare to be a world record holder. Make your way to the south east corner by gate F at 12pm to be part of the world’s largest gathering of superheroes. Once seated in the upper tier, please remain in your seats to be counted.

The current record stands at 1,016 and with more than 50,000 tickets already sold for this year's event all you need to do is turn up as your favourite hero to become a record breaker. The following link provides further details of the record attempt, and a list of what counts as a superhero costume.

Last year the action packed weekend attracted over 60,000 fans for the carnival atmosphere and many sported their finest fancy dress, so whether you're Batman, Wonder Woman or Superman get your kit on and join in the fun.

The Emirates Airline London Sevens is a unique event on the Twickenham calendar. Over two days, 16 international standard teams play more than 12 hours of free-flowing, high-scoring, world-class sevens. All to the backdrop of a festival atmosphere in the stands.

The 2009 Emirates Airline London Sevens at Twickenham, part of the IRB World Sevens Series, culminated in a stunning England comeback against New Zealand to secure victory in front of a 35,000+ crowd.
