Twickenham Stadium

01 December 2012 (17:00)

Katy McLean against New Zealand in 2011

This autumn the world’s best in international women’s rugby will meet on English soil with England taking on world champions New Zealand over three back-to-back tests.

Twickenham Stadium will host the series’ finale on Saturday, December 1, when England Women will play immediately after the men’s QBE International against the All Blacks, kick off 5pm. The game will also be live on Sky Sports 1HD.

England’s first taste of taking on the reigning champions will come on Friday, November 23 at Esher RFC, kick off 7.30pm, before a mid-week match at Aldershot’s Army Rugby Stadium on Tuesday, November 27.

England last played New Zealand 11 months ago and bounced back from their 2010 world cup heartache to defeat the Black Ferns twice. The two sides then drew the final clash. It was a historic series for England as they became the first side ever to nil the world champions and inflict two consecutive defeats on them, but can they do it again?
