RUAble Disabled Supporters Network

The RFU is developing a disabled network called RUAble. The main aims of RUAble are:

  • To create and support a group of individuals who regularly attend or hope to attend rugby matches and encourage them to develop their own disabled spectators network
  • To share hints and tips, re: good practice
  • Collate and disseminate information from grounds, receive feedback from the spectators and to provide feedback to grounds to help improve visitor experiences

Rugby Union is a game that is open and accessible to all. Opportunities exist all over the country for people to get involved in playing, coaching, refereeing and administrating in the sport. Contact your nearest rugby club to find out more using the club search tool at the top right of this page.

In some areas of the country there are specific disability rugby sections in established rugby clubs, who offer playing opportunities. The RFU also support the England Deaf Rugby Union and GB Wheelchair Rugby, who offer further opportunities for people with specific types of disability.
