Women’s Rugby – A Work in Progress

Unlike many of the Museum of Rugby's historical exhibitions, this exhibition presented a living history.

The founders of Women's Rugby are still involved, pioneering the way for a game that is still developing today.

This exhibition was a platform for the history of Women's Rugby around the world, exploring the spirit of the game and encouraging women to see themselves as part of the bigger picture of rugby history.

The 5th Women's Rugby World Cup competition began in September 2006 in Edmonton, Canada.

The exhibition was on display in the Museum of Rugby from March 14 to September 17, 2006.
