Who Are We?

The World Rugby Museum, Twickenham houses the largest and broadest collection of rugby memorabilia in the world.

Although we are owned by the Rugby Football Union and based at Twickenham Stadium, our collection covers all nations, all periods, both sexes and all levels of the game.

Helping You With Your Collection

We are very happy to offer advice and recommendations to assist guardians of other rugby football collections – especially rugby clubs.

It is vitally important that every effort is made to keep the rugby memorabilia you hold in good condition if future generations are going to enjoy it in the same way the present generation does.

Our High Standards

The World Rugby Museum cares for its collection of rugby memorabilia to the utmost professional standards. We have climate-controlled display and storage areas.

We use conservation-friendly storage materials and have the expertise to know how specific objects need to be treated.

To do this is expensive, but we are assisted by the fact that we can conserve and buy many things in bulk. Under no circumstances should anyone attempt to conserve objects themselves. Professional advice should always be sought.
