England v Ireland Programme 1910

As the Six Nations continues throughout March, we have chosen this programme from the England v Ireland match at Twickenham in 1910 as our object of the month.
This was only the second International game to be played at Twickenham. The building of the stadium was only completed in 1909, and the programme refers to ‘the new ground at Twickenham’. The match was played in front of a crowd of 20,000 and resulted in a draw.
England and Ireland meet at Twickenham for the 45th time this year on March 17th, the first time that the two have played against each other on St Patricks Day.
