Rugby School Cap

The tradition of awarding caps survives today. In most countries an international player is still awarded a velvet cap during their first season. Hence the idea of being 'capped' for your country.

This particular cap is from Rugby School and bears the Steel House emblem. It was owned and worn by Adrian Stoop, who went on to captain Harlequins and England.
