The Wall of Fame was opened at the World Rugby Museum (previously Museum of Rugby) by Martin Johnson on 3rd June 2005.
The ‘Twickenham Wall of Fame’ is a celebration of the best players from all over the world that have ever played at Twickenham Stadium. It gives the players a lasting memorial in the fabric of the Stadium.
Inductees were unveiled on the date of England international fixtures at Twickenham. Once ‘inducted’, a player is granted a permanent presence at the Stadium.
