Hugo Porta, the legendary Argentinian fly half, has earned his place on the Wall of Fame.
Will Carling regards his fellow inductee in only the highest terms. “When I was younger I watched him and I thought then what a great player he was.
“To have had such an influence on the game when playing for a country that was still in a developmental phase is extraordinary. Few, if any, players have commanded the same respect from their peers when playing for one of the lesser sides.
“And as a man he displays dignity and there is a charm about him. He was as good a fly half as there has ever been in world rugby.”
