It is important that clubs build up partnerships and network with a number of organisations, particularly those within their local community.  The support of community partners will offer your club a new dimension, helping your club develop and grow while assisting you in a variety of areas.

For example access to funding, information and coaching, attracting future players and members, and helping you to promote and publicise the work that your club is doing are all vital areas in the sustainability of your club.

This section offers ideas and advice on establishing links with schools, colleges and universitiesworking with local government, the role of community rugby coaches, and much more.

Remember, a series of fruitful partnerships can be the evidence of your standing as a real and enduring part of the community. Partner organisations can also be useful in terms of sharing ideas, developing opportunities and providing further resources.
