Guinness asks England Rugby fans to show their support in Paris

Guinness has teamed up with the RFU to help travelling England fans create a wall of white at the Stade de France this weekend, by handing out England scarves ahead of the RBS 6 Nations opening weekend.

Guinness, the official beer of England Rugby, will be distributing the scarves to supporters at St Pancras Station on Friday, where over 7,000 fans will travel to Paris to cheer on the team against France the following day.

Hoping to re-create the famous Twickenham spirit at the Stade De France, Guinness and the RFU are encouraging fans to wear their scarves and join together to cheer the team to victory over Les Bleus.

Celebrating great days out at the rugby, fans will also receive a Z-Card, which features a Swing Low Sweet Chariot hymn sheet and a guide to the best places to get a pint of the black stuff. Fans can show their support for the team by tweeting a message or even better an image of them wearing a scarf using #carrythemhome.

England fans can claim their scarf from Guinness by showing their match ticket to a one of the Guinness promotional team located by the Eurostar departures at St. Pancras Station between 7:00am – 7:00pm on Friday 31st January.

  • A valid match ticket for France v England, February 1, 2014 must be shown to claim your free scarf and Z-Card
